and I think that, okay, let's put it this way. Say, per chance, you wrote a book. It is copywrited by you because you WROTE it, even though you may have used quotes from others within it. Suddenly one of the people you quoted within your book wants the manuscript and all financial rights to it, just because he/she was quoted within the book. The writer wrote the book, the quotee did not. Why should the author of the book hand it over just because somebody wants it. That is what copywriting laws were made for...to protect those who did the work. If this doctor expects her to hand over her macros just because he SAID those things in dictation, he is very wrong. He did not do the work. She did. Do you really have any idea how long it takes to create a group of macros? The ones I have took me three years to group together, and I did those, not the doctor. Me. I would not hand them over to anybody for any *line charge* because it is MY work, not theirs. Let them create their own. If you built a house, that is YOUR work, and you should not be expected to hand it over to just anyone who wanted it. Same thing.

A tactic...
Crying ''racist'' is an attempt to intimidate the other person into shutting up.
scare tactic ??
x
sounds like a bargaining tactic
The overseas ones have been doing it for less than 3 cpl, not 8. Sounds like she was just saying she could send it over there if you didn't jump on that wonderful chance! (yeah right). I have noticed on the Indian ads that they are coming up in their pricing now.
