Only he really was that intelligent. His college major was English lit. He used phrases like "she was loathe to do that." Or, "we will proceed with that testing henceforth." I loved doing his stuff. I'm still relatively new to this business, so his reports were always a learning experience. His reports were generally really long, but always interesting and you never had a doubt what was going on with the patient when you got done reading it.
