I have one leg that swells (sm)

My right calf is bigger than my left and some days by the end of the day it bugs me. At night when I lie on the couch, I hike that leg over the back of the couch and keep it elevated for a while and it feels better Of course, I'm right-footed with the foot pedal and can't seem to work my left foot with the pedal -- it just refuses!  Anyone else have their dominant limb that bothers them from using the foot pedal?

I try to remember to get up every couple of hours and walk around, but still, by the end of the day, the leg is swollen from the knee down, and I sit on the sofa with the leg propped up on pillows.  I have tried switching the feet I use for my foot pedal, tried propping the foot up on a stool, but nothing seems to help.  Any ideas?
