I had a full time job at the nearest hospital to me-- which was a 40 mile drive one way. At the high gas prices, I had to quit because I couldn't afford to drive there any more. I have also checked with a lot of other companies and they were all just as bad or worse than MQ. They weren't going to pay me any more money and were a lot more strict with their schedules, etc. After doing the comparison, I decided I would not be any better off with any of them. Besides, I would take a pay cut while having to learn a whole new system, etc. If somebody would offer me a lot more money than what I am making now, I would be gone in a heartbeat-- but why change when they all offer the same amount-- which is peanuts. Nobody is willing to pay me what I am actually worth for my many years of experience.
