I know it sounded hypocritical

But, it is like I traded 1 problem for another.  I did feel like I was being jilted.  They never gave raises, they never delivered what was promised, they played favorites, but the money was better than what I am making now.  I had to dip out of my retirement account to pay off some bills. I just couldn't make the monthly payments anymore.  I am still not able to get health insurance.  I just cannot afford it.  Sometimes, I wonder if I should not have taken the heat and stayed.   I talked to my ex supe today and it almost made me ill, so I won't go back.  I did not even ask.

How interesting...and hypocritical...you give a
flip answer, say you don't take such statements as mine flippantly, but post as flagrantly flippant as you like (i.e., what kind of flowers....)

Do us both a favor. Don't respond any longer to my post(s). I'm not going to miss you.
It's not hypocritical. It's a business decision. The workers can buy health insurance like I
So if Walmart sells clothes they should give their workers clothes. If Walmart sells groceries they should give their workers groceries?

The problem with health insurance is the costs are going through the roof and companies cannot provide decent pay and health insurance. I once had free health insurance in a benefit package. That was before insurance costs skyrocketed. Now I PAY FOR INSURANCE. That simple. Walmart employees can PAY FOR INSURANCE like the rest of the US. The issue is the insurance companies gouging and the health care costs - not Walmart.

Buy a clue.
It's hypocritical to not give your workers health insurance but sell it to the public to line

He sounded
like the 'serial killer' type.  pretty scary.
Ok, thanks. I think it might be new AAMT changes. That's what it sounded like to me.
I'm going to post another ? at the top of the page. Can't believe how quickly this moved down! Thanks again!
Since you had a bad ESL did you blank or put what it sounded like?

Sounded fishy to me

They are both identical, polite and too exact and to me sounded like it was someone attempting to appear to be American.  Maybe I am a skeptic but that is my gut feeling.

That sounded all normal to me. And SM
remember that the day after Christmas there won't be much work anywhere.
sounded gross at first to me, but
This doesn't sound very appetizing to me, but I do love the McDonald's McGriddles. It's like having the bacon or sausage between your pancakes. So very good!
sounded like you were dripping with sarcasm nm

But that said.

Used to transcribe a doc who sounded startled,
as if I caught him off-guard, and every time I would get his dictation, he made me laugh..."oh?! Hi!"
a bark?? I thought it sounded like a cat!!
xx
First of all, you sounded condescending, and secondly YOU WERE YELLING!
And then you accused the other poster of copping an attitude? Maybe you need to take a course, posting etiquette 101. lol
OK, just sounded a lot like my experience with a company there. nm

Would help me tons if all dictators sounded like
Patrick Stewart.  Ah, if only someone could make it so!  (she grins)
I just heard it! Sounded like a bark to me, but could have been a "woo".
Too funny!
Your response sounded angry, defensive and judgmental
you gave for "walking away from the rat race." I don't buy it. I've had tough times in my life too, probably as tough as yours. It's your choice. You can either work harder and refuse to accept crap for yourself or you can get angry and bitter, which is what you've apparently done. If you're talking about turning in soda bottles for deposits, people are naturally going to deduct from that that you are or have been poor. You said it, I didn't. So if you choose to "give up," that's up to you. I chose to make something of myself nomatter what or how long it took. Read Plato's "The Republic." It's the difference between Gold, Silver and Bronze.
They sounded awful and were all moving in slow motion.

she sounded pretty rational to me, you were the one posting inflammatory remarks...nm

Brings back memories! I had a computer fan that sounded like a mini helicopter! Kept
calling my company and having them "listen".  They weren't concerned. It did actually blow up one day - a little mini "poof" of fire, 2 seconds of light smelly smoke, and she was dead!!  A goner!  Never heard it before, never heard it after, but one did make noise and it died a month later!
HAHAH, bet my question sounded dumb! For some reason I was picturing tuna salad and couldnt figure
