I know what you mean

I had this problem a couple years ago - what a pain  -

I am now an independent contractor working for a dr. office and they pay me every 2 weeks just like an employee - I am much happier with this arrangement.

I used to have to wait 30 days between pay periods and sometimes it would end up being 5 weeks or so.. So of course my bills would be late at times and I hated calling and begging for my checks. This is definitely the way to go.
