I know what you mean, and I'm sorry

that I'm rather debating you. Its just like I said in my first post, this news was sort of the straw that broke my back news - I just really love animals - still cry at old Lassie shows. And I know that China has no regard for pets like we do, and it still was horrible to me - I have the visual of the dogs all scared and standing around, watching the others get clubbed - like the baby seals. And I like chickens, too! Stopped watching the news when they showed the hens piling up! And in England during mad cow...yuck. But dogs to me are my softest spot...I just adore them. And the article that I ended up reading really was so sad - the families and kids were crying, trying to hold onto the dogs as the Chinese police dragged their dogs away...stuff of horror movies - I know they are just dogs, but still. Know what I mean? And yes I am very cautious of Chinese food, too! My husband grew up living next to a Chinese restaurant. His sister was a cat lover, yet could never keep a cat for more than a month or two and they would vanish...into thin air. Turns out, they were vanishing into House of Ongs freezer, as they were what they were labeling "chicken" in the poo poo platters!
