I've done reports on 25 yr olds in Children's, usually because of a chronic medical condition.

Most peds kick em out to big people docs at 18. My daughter emphatically told hers that she would pay full price if she did'nt have to change :)...she just did not understand.

GPs see all ages, internists usually start at 16, and peds can see them to 18 or even 21.

Psychiatry Transcription
I posted regarding my daughter having done podiatry transcription for 5 years. She also did psychiatry transcription and is willing to help me with these terms. I am mostly looking for something part time. I work in administration for a small hospital and will be doing their Op Reports at night, but it is only 2 nights a week, and they are mostly stuff that can be done in "norms". I am trying to get back "in the grove" and would like to be able to work at home. My husband has COPD, and I would like to be close by for him.

Psychiatry format help
I am testing, so I can't really call for help. The way it is typed will make or break my score, and I have not been able to find any online exapmles to help me for sure.

Psychiatry word book help...
The one from HPI is $18 and will be out of print soon. The publishing year is 1998. The one from Stedman's is $36 and published in 2002. Does anyone know if there's a big difference between the two? I've never done psychiatry before but will be soon. I much prefer the books from HPI but if the information in the Stedman's book is much more current then I'll go with them. Thanks!
