I must say....

Your words betray a very short-sighted view of terrorism.  It is a world-wide problem, has been around as long as the human race.  Bush is not going to do any good with his "War on Terrorism."  It is almost 4 years after Sept 11, 2001, and where is Osama Bin Laden?   To divert attention from his failure to get Bin Laden, Bush goes after Hussein in Iraq, makes up a story about WMD, which even the UN weapons inspector said at the time did not exist.  I say that is the most successful thing in his presidency - he has diverted public attention away from his failure to get Bin Laden and now the American public is divided over the war in Iraq.

I think it is improper to tell the other poster to quit her "slander" of Bush.  This is America, and despite the fascist Patriot Law that our congress enacted, we still have some freedom of speech.  Interesting that it is "slander" for anyone to criticize to Bush, but you have no problem blaming Clinton for everything that is wrong in the world.  When Clinton left office, the U.S. deficit had been wiped out - 6 mos. after Bush was in (elected by the Supreme Court, not the people), the deficit was higher than it been when George Bush the First was in office.

People need to stick facts on this board and not get so emotional.  This is the future of our country - children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  They deserve honest, considered, thoughtful political discourse from us, not vitriole.
