I said I was an educator, however....

I am employed by the college I teach at, and I do not get to pick their curriculum, I do not have any say-so about what is taught, for how long, etc.  I have been working very hard to get this institution to change their curriculum and it is going to be changed but it takes a lot of time and hard work to change this kind of thing.  Until such time as they allow us to make the program more "work ready" for the students, we have to do what we can with the limited resources we have.  I don't like it one bit, but believe me--I am working on improving it!

Frankly, if you are an educator, I'm am surprised at your response...
aren't you required to have ongoing training regarding learning disabilities and disorders such as ADHD? After all, federal law requires that teachers provide accomodations for this "fake disease" so maybe you better catch up with what evidence-based medicine is teaching these days.
