I saw that ad...

Frankly, at 4 cpl, even as a newbie to the field, you would be greatly selling yourself short by accepting such a horribly LOW rate, even under the guise of an internship. 

It only sends a message that it's okay to continually lower MT wages.  Internship or not, 4 cpl and 2 cpl, those are overseas/outsourcing rates. 

Not long ago, the starting newbie rate in this business was 7 cpl.  Sadly, 7 cpl seems to be the *experienced MT* line rate. 

Good luck whatever you choose, but if it were me, I'd not give SS's internship ad the time of day.  She should be ashamed of herself.
