I think the nastiness used to be diluted more

I have come to this and other boards off and on for many years. There have always been a few who prefer to bash than to provide honest information. Now it seems like they are the majority of the posters. I don't know if it is because we are all too busy trying to make a living to contribute or what.

Heck, it would seem that with 300 users here at any given time there would be more input. (I tend to be cynical about that number, though.)

I guess I'm as guilty as anyone for not contributing enough. Maybe we lurkers should take over, eh?

Do ventilate well. Try it diluted first. I have

used full strength and I basically just poured it on and wiped it up, no scrubbing.  I would dilute though until you saw the interaction with your floor.  If you have a textured flooring it will get all the crud in the crevices.

I use diluted ammonia to clean most everything, except wood.  It is strong at first but when dry it leaves everything clean smelling and makes everything shine.

my grandmother used vinegar diluted with water on my hair
whenever there was a problem with lice.
I agree with all the nastiness!

A LOT of the MTs here are very nasty, when it comes to newbies, especially! People get frustrated with inconsistent QA and all they can say on this board is, "do your time! we all went through it!" Well, that is NOT an answer.  They go around the original post and say that we "don't want to stick to what we are told by said employer, don't like corrections or criticism," when nothing could be further from the truth. We just want CONSISTENCY with QA corrections! Is that so hard for some people to get that through their thick heads?! How can one EVER learn, with inconsistency w/o going nuts?! And one particular nasty BI&*H on here (not mentioning names, she knows who she is) had the balls to tell one newbie to quit this field!!!! How freaking low is that?! I too, thought this was supposed to be fellow MTs supporting fellow MTs, but that is not the case, with some people! A place to vent, w/o being bashed! Good MTs trying to do a good job, and just asking for consistency, there is nothing wrong with that!!!!!! Maybe these sour grapes of MTs need to get out of the business, or stay off of this board, because honest, good MTs like us, do NOT CARE TO HEAR IT! Keep the negativity to yourself! The old saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything," still rings true!

Please, I am begging, stay away nasty people! If you don't have positivity to offer, or nice things to add, then DO NOT POST!!!! Telling people looking into the MT industry not to do it! I agree, this wasn't the best thing to get into as of recent, but I ALSO agree with giving newbies looking into this field the pros and cons of this biz, and let THEM decide for THEMSELVES!!! And yes, there are PROS, for you negative people! Not everyone has the same goals in life, and not everyone needs to earn the same amount of money.  Let people weigh the options for themselves, instead of just replying, "Find another career! This one sucks!" Give them both sides, not just YOUR opinion!

Okay, I feel better now! I will go cool off for now!

A big thank you to all of the nice, friendly MTs who visit here for their help on words, insight, etc.  It is much appreciated!

Have a great weekend!

I'm not sure it is all nastiness, but maybe immaturity perhaps!!?? nm

The nastiness had some attention on other forums, and seems to (SM)
have toned down. Good Luck! Small steps add up to big things. And, "Well-behaved women rarely make history."
i've noticed it as well - nastiness... nm

Golly. All that nastiness directed at someone who agreed with you?
You're the one who didn't want anything but nicey nicey. Sometimes the truth isn't nicey nice. Sometimes the truth doesn't have bunnies and flowers. It's all part of the rich tapestry of life. If I'm wasting your time, just don't read my posts. Call me a child if you want. You're the one having the tantrum.
