You get what you pay for...the language barrier creates a lot of issues, the privacy issues, security issues, etc, are going to affect things. I know also that a lot of these companies that offshore (I am sure not all of them) do not disclose to their clients that they do it or work around that by having an American edit the work. I alot of clinics and hospitals want their work in the US, and I think the more these type of practices come out in the open, the offshoring will at least stop being such a huge trend.
