Hi, I thought you could not search without using the first letter also, but I read you can search like *max on the search index tab not on search alone. I used to have QLDB 2007 but now I don't. I do have the Stedman's Equipment and Cardiology and Pulmonary words on Ready Reference and you can do a search under the search index tab using the *and the last letters. Hope that helps.
