Back in 2002 and I had the same problems with VLC. Back then I think the course was smaller and they kept using the excuse that they weren't expecting the number of enrollees that had joined. I waited a long time for my materials. I had problems all through the course with technical issues. I also never received the "certificate" and I think according to them I never finsihed the course even though I finished everything they sent me. I guess they are still having the same problems years later. That is bad business.
