I've been at home for about 12 years after working in the hospital for 10. For personal reasons, I no longer could commute to the hospital and they asked me to do it at home. Which I was very thankful for. It saved them a lot of money and at the time I made more and helped me out. They did not look into outsourcing to a national company until years later when I increased my rate. They found out that was not so cheap. It was three times what I charged even with the increase in rate.
