Above is a copy of the actual I9 form that you will be required to fill out for any new employer.  You do not have to have a social security card.  I haven't had a SS card since I lost mine when I was about 12.  I have a passport and that works just fine.  You can get a new SS card, but it does take quite a bit of time.  Last time I checked, it wasn't an automatic process.


If you don't have a passport (which I think you said you don't have) and if you don't have the SS card, then you have to have something else from list C.  You can have one thing from list A, or you can have one thing each from list B AND list C.
