Since working as a Transcriptionist, I have always been an employee. I have been offered a part time job elsewhere, and am seriously thinking about asking for IC status. Guess what I am asking is if change to IC, would I be able to work my own hours or would I still have to work a certain shift? Please advise.

        IC sets their own hours. As long as the work is done by the deadline, you decide when to work. - nm
