IMO

People who make a lot of errors in reports never realize it, and not all MTs have access to QA. So actually, IMO, this is the ONLY place some people will ever get qualified feedback on errors (often common English words) they may be making every day in reports without realizing it. You assume everybody has a spellchecker, but that's not always true, or the dictionary has errors in it. That's very common in my experience. Some people are overly sensitive about being corrected; it's a shame they can't just learn from the correction and not get upset, even if it was just a simple typo instead of an actual hole in their education.

I changed careers and I'm very happy. Medicine used to interest me, but working from home it no longer has enough variety and excitement, so I found a career related to one of my 2 hobbies. If you can find something like that you will never miss MT. But since it is all new to me, it's a good thing I ENJOY instruction and correction instead of getting offended by it.
