what they talk about? They are not even MTs and I quit going there ages ago. It is not really special, just a bunch of women gossiping, who knew people from other boards. Lots of people on heavy medications, etc.

Congratulations....I Was Rejected!!
I'm not terribly upset that I was rejected. It might be age discrimination........just kidding. I have an odd background with a BS in Medical Technology in 1969 and 33 years in the medical laboratory. I think they just didn't know how to categorize me.
Good luck to you. I'm sure you'll do well. The timing is not good for you but hopefully they can find an alternative date for you. 
If a job can be rejected, refused, or hung up on, it's being cherrypicked. nm
