and I would love to be able to do that myself. IF you happen to find the answer, please repost! I know of no way to get autotext from Emdat to Shorthand. If you have a friend with programming knowledge that could write a routine for you to transfer the autotext file to text, then possibly you could use that to move them to Shorthand.

No offense, but you were unaware of the history of AAMT/AHDI
I would suggest that you learn more about the history and realities of these subjects before calling for a big strike or walkout. Credibility is an issue here.
