Oh please! Now its all about the $$ again. He lives in France for several reasons,
the obvious of which is his wife wants to stay in her homeland, and, secondly, he has said that the Parisians treat him like a regular guy - we all know that celebs living in the USA are stalked and their lives are chaotic trying to avoid stalkers, paparazzi, etc. He feels his children are safe there, and they are his #1 priority.  Even a lesser known actor like Gary Oldman, who has NEVER stated anything politically incorrect, had to leave the LA area in the USA because some nut case "fan" keeps threatening to kill his 2 little boys. While Gary Oldman has been quoted as saying he LOVES living in the USA compared to Britain, he's had to return to Europe because the climate for celebreties is not as crazy as it is in the USA.  Its INSANE.  They do live some of the year in the USA by his family, but he has chosen not to disclose the location or times of year. He is like one of the BIGGEST stars in the world right now - and still nuts hate him. Hmm....I saw BOTH interviews, and read the original "USA hatred" article, and he never said that. While eccentric, the man is brilliant - do you think he'd be stupid enough to say he hated the USA?  He NEVER said it, but its just the perfect example of how media manipulates things, and how some of us are naieve enough to believe it.  Boycott him all you want - its your loss, not his!
nope - OWNED BY FRANCE AND....sm
American Hospital in Paris is owned and run by the French...........they named it when they were still liking us.........*LOL*
Try living in france if you think you have problems (sm)
being young and needing a job.
Not fried rabbit????
:+
I lived in France for 3 years. Dad was in the Army. sm
I think it would be a terrific opportunity for you to go. If you don't like it, you can always return to US. However, if you don't go, you'll regret it later in life.

I vacationed in Italy and it's wonderful.

Go! Bella Italia! Bella, bella!

I lived in England for 3 months and France..sm

Lived in England - 12 miles SE of London for 3 months and people were pretty nice.  This was at the time that cops in England never carried guns, but I think that has changed by today's standards.

My inlaws (now outlaws) live in France and there are 7 first cousins there.  I lived there for 3 months and got to go to Florence and Siena and Feisole, Italy.  They do like Americans in Italy.  As for France, they only don't like Americans in the northern part (the closer you get towards Germany).  They are so much nicer and more tolerant in the South of France...Nice, Aix-en-Provence, and all the wine-growing part of the country.

Also traveled for weeks through Sweden, Denmark, and Amsterdam Holland.  Europe is certainly beautiful!

I've had rabbit stew before.

Now watch me pull a rabbit
"MTIA strongly supports the development of a credentialed workforce."

And in case you were wondering who was going to be the certifying body...

ta DA! They have their very own handy-dandy organization right on hand to provide the test! AHDI!

But wait! Not only are they on hand, they have the EXACT same address as MTIA!

Oh, & in case you were wondering who was going to pay for all this, "MTIA acknowledges that there is a measurable cost associated with preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining the professional credentials referenced here. It is important to note that the Association is not including in this recommendation the mandate or suggestion that the responsibility for those costs be shouldered, at all or in part, by the transcription service organization/employer.

So let's see. They force MTs to become CMTs by pushing so hard for it in the industry that it becomes impossible to work without it. Next, they make the MTs pay for the certification themselves even though their facilitation of offshoring has driven wages down so far that it's hard to make a living. Finally, the fees for this certification go to an organization with an address identical to theirs...

how do you spell c-l-a-s-s a-c-t-i-o-n??

I like that idea of rabbit wire and dirt....
around them and using them as planters.  I don't have any stumps in my yard now, but did have a property once with lots of stumps and after I moved and got a little more into gardening realized how useful they could be.  Use the stump as a pedistal for potted plants such as wave petunias.  Nail a few cross limbs on it and put some climbing flowering vines like clematis or cardinal climbers and make little garden beds in the rich soil around them.   Scatter birdseed on top of some and use others to make birdbaths with a shallow dish.  Also they make a nice place to just sit and enjoy your garden.  I wish I had more stumps in my yard!
what'd you serve with it?
mashed potatos, pasta, rice? All of the above! I'm a carb freak, can you tell. I personally appreciate any good, quick and easy recipes.  It's like I never have time to "cook" anymore! I mean really cook, like mama used to!  excuse me, I'm gettin' all choked up! LOL
This is one I serve sometimes
Skillet-browned chicken breasts; chilled pasta salad; mashed sweet potatoes.

Make your pasta salad first and let it get good and cold before serving. Boil a bag of tricolor rotini and drain, immediately immerse in cold water. I add a drained can of LeSeur baby peas, a drained can of LeSeur baby carrots, sometimes a drained can of niblet corn, and any other tender veggies you want. Toss with about 1 to 1-1/2 cups of either low-fat Italian or Ranch dressing, depending on the taste you want. Chill until dinner.

Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil. Rinse and pat dry your boneless skinless chicken breasts and simply rub with salt and pepper -- gently brown in the olive oil.

Mashed sweet potatoes: Peel and cut into chunks 2-3 good-size sweet potatoes. Boil until tender and drain. Mash with salt, pepper, and a dash of milk.

Does it serve your financial needs?
The main criteria for any job wage would be whether you think it is a fair trade for your skills and will it provide what you need it to financially.

I personally would not work for $15 an hour. However, your needs may be different from mine. I also have other options. You may not.

It is a very subjective question and one that only you can really answer.

Yes, call your local vet, any vet, and ask for the wild rabbit rescuer in your area.
There is always someone nearly everywhere. If you can't find one, please write me and I'll search for someone for you if you're short on time.  They are so worth saving.  Mom might still be around. Let's hope so!
That is a noble thing, I believe . To serve for
I started in the early 80s and worked my way through college, and decided to keep with it rather than go for my intended job in the liberal arts. I have never been sorry. I have always been inspired. From steno pad to manual typewriter, and rolling fax machines. From white out to voice editing, I still believe it to be a noble profession. Good for you!
Got an air horn?!!! Would serve them right to lose their hearing! nm
