Court reporting is so completely different from medical transcription. It takes years to build up speed and confidence. You can be transcribing along at the speed of sound, and if you hear one word you're not familiar with, you'll be completely thrown off - stuck - and back about 20 sentences. Court reporting is hard. Anyone who tells you different is not being upfront with you.
