It's been about 3 weeks (knock on wood) and because of my early onset senile dementia I'm not 100% sure how it is I ever fix it. I try all kinds of goofy stuff to try to fix mine and it drives me nuts!!! Try unplugging and replugging in your keyboard. It's either that or closing out the program that fixes it for me, and since you've already tried that, give the keyboard a chance. Much like any electronic, I think it sometimes needs to reboot, too.
If that's not it, I can't wait for someone to give the right answer so I can put that in my TIPS desktop folder for the next time it happens to me.
