no matter how long she is away, she will be somewhat homesick. I've been away from my home state since 1985 and still miss it and call it home, but the experiences of living all over the US have been wonderful. Once she gets used to the area and starts meeting people, she will be fine. She needs to hang in there and start getting out of the house to meet people, the library is a good place to start. I still love to go home to visit, but then I'm ready to leave again.
