Omigod, are you serious? Tell him to go back to work. Don't think of it as working FOR that person, he needs to think of it as his job and he is working for the company.

Everyone has had situations that suck, but to refuse to go back to a job like that, is just plain stupid. You'll both kill yourselves with stress and worry and end up in the poor house.

Don't be stiffnecked - by going back to the job, your DH isn't losing any dignity and you're certainly gaining in the financial department.
