Years ago my sister remarried after her first husband walked out on her when her daughters were only 2 and 6 months. 

After she and her new husband moved to a new small town she always worried about being the only divorced and remarried mom in the neighborhood.

When her daughters were 10 and 8, my sister asked them, "Where are all you friends this weekend?" and they said, "At their dads'."
