I personally make more as an editor, even though my line rate is half. I also find it much easier on my hands/wrists than being a transcriptionist. I have a friend who is more than qualified and capable of being an editor, but she makes more as a Transcriptionist and has less stress. So, I really think it depends on your personality and your talents. I decided to give it a try and am so very glad that I did. I still transcribe very little so I do not lose touch with that, but love editing!!
