Paris Hilton's another one - Skankeroo!

? How does MT work translate into *Paris Hilton*?
And who really gives a U-know-What about her, anyway?

I get so tired of this fatalistic, "nothing-can-be-done-about-it" attitude of many in the MT profession. No wonder we're continually getting stomped-on.........
i think you are 100% correct. these kids are like paris hilton's dog tinkerbelle. she gets more
angelina took it a step further with kids. those kids are pets with a cleanup crew.

re: Kathy S--MQ Amherst

Sometimes I think that some of the people out there think we are making this stuff up and that we are all wealthy and only working for the fun of it. This is the farthest thing from the truth. I am the sole support of my family and I need to work and again Amherst has us out of work after we were call called to work this week-end. I resent the remarks from the other person that MQ or anyother company would hire more people because these accounts are out of TAT--how can they ever be out of TAT when they have so many MT's in each account, When I was transferred to Amherst I was told how they were so busy with so many accounts and I would never have to worry about running out of work--what a lie. I have 6 accounts, how many do we need, should we all have 15 or 20 accounts and then we would have work. Why do other MT's that are in other offices have only ONE account and have work all the time--could it be the way the office is run???????? Why does MQ let this office continue to run the way it is but then do they really care--if we leave, they will just hire new MT's to replace us

Thank you, Kathy. I just emailed you.

Kathy Griffin life on the D list
She's funny but what happened to her face?  She looks like she got her nose from this one, her lips from the other one, and hair from somebody else.  And that forehead is as big as the moon.  Why doesnt she leave that poor face alone?  There's such a thing as too much plastic surgery, she is the poster child.  Anyone know when to catch this?  I know its on Bravo but forgot the night.  Poor girl.
You are far from stup Kathy. Think it through or contact me anytime.

Probably Paris...nm

I like Paris and Elliot
Elliot was great last night with the Mood for Love song.
I think Paris or Kelly
I'd love to see Kelly go home. She was bad last week and worse this week. If there's any justice, she'll be gone. I like Katharine and didn't think she was as bad as the judge's thought last night. I really love Chris thouh and think he'll definitely be in the final two.
Tonight will probably be Paris
Dial Idol has Paris as the lowest with Kellie a close second.  For the margin of error, it could be either one of them but since Kellie has Vote for The Worst on her side, I think tonight will be Paris.  I was kind of embarassed by Katherine's dress. I was actually working while the show was on, and I looked up while she was singing and thought to myself "put those boobies away," lol.  I think she has a good voice, but she is playing the sexy bod card as much as Kellie is playing the dumb blonde card, although Katherine is a much better singer than Kellie.  I had tears when Elliott was singing last night.  My favorite is always Taylor, although I was disappointed in his song choice last night, and think he could have picked something better to have another magical night like last week.  Elliott was the best of the night and might have done better with the judges if he hadn't taken David Foster's advice on the arrangement of the song.  I think Chris is okay, but I just can't connect emotionally with him. He's never brought me chills or to tears or made me laugh or smile like Taylor has, or like Elliott did last night.  I think the bottom 2 tonight will be Paris and Kellie, with Paris leaving as she just doesn't have the fan base.
I'm kind of over Paris....
I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see Paris go home.  I think she's a good singer, but I think there are others who are better in the competition.  I hope the top 3 is Elliott, Taylor and Chris but then after that I'll be devasted when they go home one by one because I love all three of them!!!
I think Paris tonight.

I think it's time for Paris to go.

Those of you with daughters, at what age did you - sm
allow them to have their ears pierced?  My daughter's are 7 (8 in August) and 6 and are both bugging me to get their ears pierced.  I was 10 when I had mine done, but then again I had no interest in doing it before then.  Of course you see the mom's that have their kids ears done as babies/toddlers, but I think that is way too young, but that is my opinion.  So what is a reasonable age?
My daughters have certain guidelines in the way they want (sm)

the children to act, be treated, etc.  We have an understanding that I won't let them play in the street, swim unattended, smart mouth an adult, cus, or do anything that is generally dangerous for them.  They love to help cook, garden and just sit on my lap and be read to.  Yes, I may take them shopping a little too often, but they usually have helped in the garden or helped with housework prior, so they are actually earning the money they spend for toys at WalMart.

I would never undermine their parents (even though the father of the two youngest is a true bum) to them.  I try to always touch upon good things they should be proud of such as "Your mommy sure knows how to fix you hair so nice, I wish I could do it as well."

These grandchildren are the most precious thing in the world to me and the last thing I would do is act in a way that would keep their parents from allowing them to visit.   Maybe you should explain to those grandparents your reasons/concerns.  Surely they would be glad (after an initial sulk maybe) to change their ways in exchange for more hug and kiss time from their grandbabies.

teenage daughters

Excuse me for being clueless but what do DH and DD stand for?

I understand where you are coming from.  My 2nd daughter from 1st marriage is almost 16 and lives with her dad.  Her stepmom is very disrespectful of me.  Always telling daughter what I should be doing, like getting a "real job".  Now my daughter has taken to calling me names any chance she gets, cursing and disrespecting my fiance's family also.  Since she lives with her dad we decided not to let her come down for a few weeks but that will not solve the problem.

Any ideas anyone.  I think the names and lack of respect is coming from the stepmom but she of course denies doing anything wrong.

Teenager daughters
Thank you Terri for your encouragement. I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind.
Very young on both daughters - sm
Two weeks old on first daughter. One week old on second daughter.
We adopted our two daughters through...

the foster care program in California.  If you would like to know all about it, both positive and negative, please e-mail me.  I really don't want to share the whole story on a public forum.

Grown-up daughters - say nothing unless asked. And then don't say too much. nm

My 3 daughters have myspace sites
They are ages 18, 25 and 26. My older daughters stay in touch with old friends. My youngest has met lots of Marine girlfriends like her and they support each other. There is a lot of gross stuff, but some of it is kids being kids (do we all forget what we were like at that age). However, I do think parents should check their minor children's spaces. There is a lot of admission of underage drinking and drug use going on. I think these kids are nute posting that kind of stuff. I have a site and password too, that I only use to monitor things. My kids don't know that I have that. I just like to look at the pictures.

And yes, I agree, it is not any different than adults posting to sites like this or another adult type informational site.
I have a friend who has her 2 daughters way too busy - sm
They also go the private school we used to go to (trying public this year); so her kids (11 and 8) have a min. of an hour to 2 hours of homework a night to deal with as well as Brownies and swim league (2 different ones, do not over lap though), as well as Sunday school/church. I know they have to do their homework in the car a lot. My 2 do Brownies (every other Monday)right after school for 2 hours, 8-y/o takes 2 hours of dance on Tuesdays after school(only took 1 last year), and my 6-y/o take 1 hour of dance on Wednesdays after school. So I think they are okay but Tuesdays and Wednesdays are more hectic and homework gets done a little later (finished last night at 8, after dinner, homework, showers), Wednesdays get home an hour earlier so that is not as bad. But I agree some parents way over schedule their kids, some so they don't have to deal with them so much, others to keep them out of trouble. My brother keeps his 2 boys pretty busy, though that has slowed down some now that they are older; but he definitely over scheduled his too in the past; and in the summer too, they go to a lot of camps when they could be home with mom though she does not work. I feel bad for his kids since they are always being shuttled off somewhere and hardly see either parent, though my brother now works out of the house (quit his job and started his own consulting firm) so maybe that will change some. I live 200+ miles away so it is hard to say. I just hope they all turn out okay.
Yes, my daughters are getting smart to reality.
When they are out in the "general" public with their girlfriends they know not to flaunt themselves in a disrespectful way. We, as in all parents on both sides, chosen to accept our children because I feel like condemning them for something they believe in is wrong. Do I deep down hope and pray it is a phase and they will change, I'd be lying if I said no, but will I love them any less if it doesn't happen that way, of course not. I do feel bad because my stepdaughter was extremely close to her grandparents and when they found out they asked her to keep her life to herself and they are opting to go with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. They are fairly religious and state that they will never acknowledge anything in her life that pertains to that. At 18, she was crushed but her love for them stays strong and she respects their beliefs. As a side note, my sister who is a year older than me decided she was a lesbian too after 3 marriages, 3 children and more men that I could ever count her whole life. Honestly, I feel this is some kind of "trend" and it is a little disturbing. I have met some people who were "different" day one and I would think to myself "wow, they really are a man in a women's body and vice versa." It is obvious that they were born that way and had no choice, but what I see now is more of a lifestyle choice when you spend your own life being boy-crazy and then all of a sudden you only date women. What is the world coming to...being "open-minded" is about the only way to put handling all of this.
I hope either Paris or Elliott go home tonight
I think it will come down between Taylor and Chris. Ultimately, I hope Chris wins it - I LOVE HIM!
Yeah, I kept all mine and my daughters will get to read them when
have a bunch of them, Judy Blume, I think is the author.
Daughters' friends call me Miss Lori.

Get some IPOD headphones. I was having some problem and "burrowed" my daughters. sm
They about blasted my eardrums out when I first hit play after plugging them in because my volume was so loud as I was struggling to hear. I am hooked now. IPOD headphones!
The bible also states it is okay for fathers to sleep with their daughters. You are limiting

Please see message. I have three daughters with long, long hair.
I also have long hair down to my waist and my three girls have hair that long too. My daughter brought them home from school last year. I was devestated and grossed out!!!! I have never had to deal with lice. Anyway, we did the treatments and two of my girls broke out in a severe rash with the OTC stuff. Their little heads were so sore!! I thought I was being meticulous with eggs, only to find them hatching again down the road. A nurse at the pediatricians office suggested I try oil to suffocate them since my girls were allergic to the lice solution. I bought a huge bottle of veggie oil and dumped it on all three heads, plus my own. I then wrapped the heads in platic wrap and then a towel. I left this on for 30 minutes. It takes a while to wash out the oil, but we never, ever had the lice or eggs again!!! If you try this, make sure you put on an old shirt and put a towel around your shoulders. Obviously we were desperate, but we all have such long hair and very thick hair so I was willing to try anything. And I figured there was no chemicals involved so that was pretty safe. And it sure did help my littles ones since their scalps were pretty raw from the solution. Hope this helps and Good luck!
