I, too, have over 20 years of experience. When I started working for a national last year for the first time, though, I realized how much had changed regarding grammar rules and punctuation. Might I suggest that you obtain an AAMT Book of Style and read it through? That is what I did. It was a real eye opener. Some of the things I had been doing for years were "incorrect".
