I think we work for the same supervisor! I love it that my PTO requests or schedule flexing questions or ANYTHING in general can be answered on a whim or not at all, but the world stops turning if I fail to respond to an email regarding OT or working on my day off. That doesn't even include the hasty phone calls on my day off basically threatening me with bodily harm if I don't do their "mandatory" overtime. Okay... little exageration here, but that is the way it feels sometimes. The PTO thing kills me though. I asked for a flex schedule change about 8 weeks ago.. not even any time off... and still no response. Probably will either just get ignored or won't get an answer until the day before. How can I have a life like that?
I feel like I should only have to respond with as much timely consideration as they do. Of course, easier said then done!
