You'll most likely argue with them your entire career.  Move on and learn from it.  You do not want to go head to head with a company that obviously does not know what they are talking/testing about.  If you are right, then you are right.  Shoddy is the correct term though.  I found it in the Webster's English Dictionary.  There are too many others out there that would appreciate you more.
