You can print business cards 12 at a time on stock paper out of your printer and cut them to size. Ask one of the other accounts to write a letter of reference, esp if it is a doc well known to the medical community. Whenever they call again, ask for samples of their work. They can fax it with the name blacked out.  If they are behind, those are the accounts to jump on. I had a doc call two years ago and they were weeks behind. They asked if I could come in that day (of course I couldn't!) but I said, of course I can and got my little tail down there. I bid the job high at 14 cpl and told them I could take the tapes home today and start working on them. Got the backlog caught up over a hard weekend's of work and now they are my best and most loyal customers.

You are absolutely right to be more assertive on landing these accounts. The phone call is just part of it. You have to go in and wrap up the sale, so to speak. If you are willing to do it, absolutely the two of you should work together. And you should get a commission or at least lines at wholesale! If she doesn't want to f/u up on it, maybe you should ask if she minds if you get the account for yourself?
