Look, you know as well as we do that SM

your particular setup is the EXCEPTION and not the rule as at-home MT work goes.  I live in a large metropolitan area and every one of the hospitals outsources their work to a national.  A few years ago these same hospitals all had at least a few of their own MTs (but mostly in-house).

I would never, never recommend someone give up a job like she has that gives her a lot of value in the working world to narrow herself to a dying field.
