Of course it helps if you're 3 sheets to the wind, but karaoke night can be your own personal Idol!!! I've always loved to sing, 1 or 2 martinis and I'm loose enough to get up there an be anyone I want to be!!!! (Use caution: One night when I was exceptionally drunk [really not a habit], I'm told I sang the same song several times ... but, hell, I did it well!!! Just live it up! It may be that we only get to go on this ride oncel we need to have fun! Who cares if you don't have a 4-octave range? Much of it is engaging the audience in the fun you're having, IMO ... :O
