I am a MT with MS. I am newly diagnosed as of May/June 2005. I work outside of the house at a hospital FT and at home part time. I have done both. I would be interested in talking if you want. Just let me know.

Transcription team leader...even though there is no team.  This is the exact job that was offered to me when our department went to the Q and I didn't do it because I couldn't afford to, there was no place at that hospital that I could work because of the low pay.  After 2 years, this profession is paying less and less, and that job is seeming pretty good.  It was posted a few months ago and I applied on line and received an e-mail a couple weeks later saying the position had been filled.  I was devastated, but then I remembered that a while back (quite a while) one of the people in the employment office said they don't even consider on-line applications, for whatever reason.  So, it's posted again.  Should I apply?  I really want to get out of this racket.  Thanks for listening.
