Me too...

In Reply to: neck pain - sienna

I also have a problem with C5-6 and bone spurs.  It took a while for the chirpractor to help.  Initially I saw him 3 times a week.  My pain would lessen after my adjustments.  After about 4 months I was able to knock it down to once a week.  By about 7 or 8 months, I was almost completely pain free and only seeing him every 2 weeks.  I haven't seen him in a month, and my hands are starting to hurt a little.  The funny thing is, I have never, ever felt pain in my neck, only my hands. My neck muscles were very tight and a little sore, but not really painful.   The pain always starts in the joint of my first finger on my left hand and moves from there.  When he adjusts my neck, that joint will instantaneously stop hurting.  The rest of the pain in my hands takes a few hours to go away, though.

I also have started doing a lot of yoga and exercise videos at the suggestion of my chiropractor.  He said that walking motion and eliptical machines align the spine, so I try to do some type of exercise for an hour a day.  I do Leslie Sansone videos and stretching exercises.
