Me too, had a few do that....

It was a smaller MTSO and there were a few doctors who would always throw their comments in, whether it be:

"I have dictated this report a million times and I'm not doing it again, come to me personally if you have a problem" in an obnoxious tone.

Get the mumbling and grumbling under their breath as they are correcting a little mistake that another Transcriptionist made, get the grrs, gods, and ughs.  Even had another quite nasty letter to another doc that I had to type (and I transcribed for the other doc, too) that I didn't feel right about doing, but, I guess that's part of my job.

It made me feel like I was less than qualified for this job. It stuck with me in every report I did for them...always paranoid. These doc's would make the smallest mistake seem like the world was coming to an end and everytime I would get a dictation from them, would always await their little sarcastic remarks (still harping on mistakes made months ahead of time, lol).

Couldn't take it anymore, so I switched companies... much happier now, dont have to worry about a doc spazzing out at any given moment in the dictation.

I dont want this to sound like there were tons of mistakes for these docs because there weren't (I could understand them being ticked then). I'm just tellin you some of the things I heard from them over the 2 years.  Most of the few mistakes I did hear about were mistakes that were the docs fault, but the transcriptionists didn't catch.

These were just people you couldn't please no matter what you did.
