Melba, Hora, and Elsie

Three real women with very ugly names that became friends and room together (not in a nursing home).  Melba is my male friend's current girlfriend.  I call her "toast" for short.  The worst name out of the three, in my opinion, is Hora.  If it was me, I would have legally changed my name.  I would hate to be asked if "Hora" starts with a "W" or an "H."
