My Mom

I'm one of the rare and lucky few who don't need a job now and didn't need a job back when I started, either. My Mom heard about MT from a friend who decided not to pursue it due to the cost of the schooling. I homeschool my kids, my husband makes enough money for me to stay home. As my kids got older and more self-sufficient, I got bored. My Mom, my sister, my aunt and I all decided to go to school for MT at the same time. We all graduated. My aunt left MT after only a couple months on the job because she thought it was too frustrating and time-intensive (yes, she thought it was going to be a stay-at-home-and-look-pretty job). My sister, Mom and I have all been doing MT for 6 years now and we all still love it. Considering I don't need this job financially, I'm really not hit as hard by "industry changes" as other people are. I'm hoping I can continue to be an MT until I can't work anymore. If not, I always have that stupid economics degree to fall back on, although I would rather not.
