Nay. Quite doubtful. I mean, you *could* do it theoretically, but s/m

In Reply to: $100 in a 7hr dy w/ VR @3cpl? - Is this possible?

you would have to work extremely hard and have that much work available to you consistently, which would be rare these days. It would be very unlikely you could get that in 7 hours. VERY unlikely. Sorry.

to doubtful from page 2 (regarding no more 'free' TV)...

After the transition period (2006), the VHF channels (2-13) will remain available for DTV ...

...and the analog TV service will end on all channels.

Your TV screen will go black, unless you have cable or satellite.  I did not mean there would be no more public TV, just no more 'free' TV.  You will have to have a dish or a cable modem...

In other words, beginning 2006 (which will last a few years to transition, to my understanding, and the prices are supposed to come way down for the special equipment), there will be NO MORE analog (or FREE) TV.

This site explains more from the FTC, and it looks to me like the government has select channels etc.

Theoretically
If I take my cpl & multiply it by my normal lines per hour it comes to around $30 an hour. Theoretically that's $60K gross (I'm an IC so I would have to deduct taxes & health insurance), but the thing is, I am really in the throes of burnout. So I just don't have the stamina to keyboard for 8 or more hours per day any more. I just can't do it. At the moment I work about 4 or 5 hours a day and the rest of the time I devote to my photography, with which I hope eventually to replace transcription.
theoretically not, but practically, yes..nm

I suppose theoretically it's possible

If you're really fast and can average 300 lph or more and are making at least 10 cpl.

I hate to see them mislead people like that though.  It takes a long time to build up that kind of speed.  There are people on this board who say they can do it, though.

Hmm, the nasty posts have been coming from those who are either jealous or doubtful.

I have not read any positive contributions from posters who are complaining they don't make enough money working for the nationals. They are only blasting away at those posters who have taken the risk and initiative to get their own accounts. If they have something positive to say about what they're doing that makes their job profitable and fulfilling, I'm just waiting to hear it. I think they just want to complain and see how many people they can bring down with them.Go figure.
