It may look like it would be a job full of prestige, meaning, money, and making the world a better place for MTs and patients, but it's not. I've been in mid/senior management for a couple of the top companies and it's ugly as can be. It's all about politics, and if your vision doesn't meet those of the venture capitalists or the prez, you're nothing but a red-headed stepchild who needs to be stepped on. If you stay in middle/senior management after you've seen the ugly truth, you've probably sold your soul and given up any ethics you may have had.

I've gone back to being an MT and am happier than I've been in a decade. Peace! No politics! Just me and the report.
