NEVERMIND. No one answered anyway.
Pffffffttt!
Nevermind - I'm giving it to you anyway! lol
For a REALISTIC but FANTASTIC job, here's what I think:

-- limited ESLs but completely accessible samples (meaning, a secure website that I can go to in the middle of the night when I'm typing and get all the samples I need)

-- Word Expander of my choice on YOUR provided equipment

-- Weekly teleconferences with my entire mgmt team and coworkers to discuss how we did last week, what we see coming up this week, what's on our mind, etc.

-- Base pay commensurate with worktypes: clinic and ER = 0.10 cpl; acute care w/o ops = 0.12 cpl; ops = 0.15 cpl; specialties (neuro, ophth, cardio, path, hem/onc, etc.) = 0.15

-- Production incentives based on that day's lines-per-hour averages; the more you type, the higher the incentive tier

-- Shift differentials of 1 cpl for 2nd shift and 2 cpl for 3rd shift if you work 4 or more hours into the shift

-- Difficulty pay for weighted ESLs and difficult dictators (not all ESLs are bad, some US docs are hideous) up to double lines

-- Weekend incentives of 3 cpl for 1000 lines or more on Sat and Sun

-- REgular QA feedback

-- Qrtly bonuses based on percentage of QA blanks sent and quality on regular QA analysis of my work

-- PTO rates averaged every quarter

-- PTO of 15+ days a year -- commensurate with yrs of svc

-- PAID HOLIDAYS (paid hrly if not worked and double lines if worked)

-- Mentor program -- pair up proven exp'd MTs with newbies and pay the mentors a flat fee per month

-- Let me earn a few extra rewards for top production and really high QA and not missing work and keeping my schedule and good communication

-- A $50 "thank you" during MT week

-- Never promise anything you cannot or will not deliver

How's that?

nevermind, I misread

Nevermind...I think I found one.

thanks.
I figured it out....So nevermind
I feel really stupid, but I was checking online to find a resolution to my problem and found a reminder to make sure the box is checked to expand quickwords when you type them.  How that box got unchecked I don't know, but anyway, problem solved!
Nevermind - I figured it out.. nm

Nevermind. Apparently, my speaker wire
came loose just a little bit from the computer and it caused this. You would think it would not work at all if that happened. Sorry!
Nevermind what CMTer says. She's obviously an AHDI cheerleader!

Nevermind - I saw your second post answering my question. sm
It might be video, but you might not have a video card because a lot of motherboards have the video functions (chipset) embedded on the board these days. If that's the case, it might need a new motherboard. Hopefully, you do have a video card that proves to be the problem and it turns out to be an easy fix.
nevermind. I found it, I thought the date/time
button was for actual date and time, not the settings of the footpedal to rewind, play and fastforward. The achives of MTstars helped me figure that out!
in the archives for SS
and we will see how jazzed you are. Line stealing, lying, demanding, worst company out there. Been there, done that!!!!!
archives
where do I go to get to archives?
Archives
I thought if you did the search above using the MTStars option, that was the archives??? LOL

Sorry I'm no help.....
archives
If the newbies are making $7 and not admitting it..shame on them.  We all had to start from somewhere.  Moreover, you people with your smart-butt replies to honest questions make me sick.  What's wrong with a polite reply, say, something like, We just discussed that recently.  Why not access the archives....etc....but NO, ya gotta have a wise-crack answer.  Shows your mental age real well.
Don's use the Archives, just use the
"search" box just above the postings, not the one at the time that you have to check web or mtstars.
I checked the archives and there isn't much on TRS.
TIA
CHECK THE ARCHIVES
BAD, BAD, BAD.
do an archives search

They totally suck!  Very unprofessional group of people.  Surpised they are still hanging in.

read the archives.....they do
it was posted in the last couple of weeks
If OP had checked the archives on any of these
companies she would have found all the info needed.  I've posted in minute detail many times about SS when asked, so the information is there.
search archives.
//
Search the archives for yourself.
.
Did you check archives? It seems like I saw something about
them within the past 2 weeks and it wasn't good, but I can't swear to it.
OTI. The best. Check archives. nm

try searching the archives

This has been discussed several times in the last few months.  You should be able to find some answers there.

I myself have posted in archives about this man..

here's one fave from my archives...sm
i had a young neurosurgeon dictating an extremely complicated brain surgery while on his cell phone in his sports car...all of a sudden i hear the engine screaming (sounded like a ferrari!) and him saying, "sh**...I gotta make this light, hold on..." which was followed by nothing but ENGINE noise for a few seconds, then a brief pause, and he calmly continued dictating his complex report...talk about multitasking...i'll never forget that one. :)
Thanks will search the archives
:-)
did you run the company name through the archives
here?? Problems like this usually have a history, and a long one at that.

Try the archives for this. Not too long ago
there was a discussion, not sure what board it was on though.
CHECK the archives on this.
x
thanks - did check archives, but

did not really get enough good info to make a decision, so am looking for any other MTer's who have had experience with these.
