No need to submit anything for payroll if you are SE.

The platform keeps track of your lines and dates worked. As an SE, you choose your own hours and they expect you to work them, but actual time does not need to be submitted. They, of course, would prefer you also send in a time sheet, but cannot require it.

We did not submit that ad
We at AccuStat Carolinas did not place or approve that ad that was run above. It was placed by an MT trying to outsource some work in the US under AccuStat. We are sorry for any confusion!!
Since you are an IC, don't you submit an invoice that...SM
your client should pay you from?  If that isn't how you're doing it, then you are an employee NOT an IC.  You are at the mercy of the MTSO.
Yep, she used to be in payroll.

it isn't just payroll tax
the GST/HST is added to everything you buy - so an additional 13% on food, clothing, cars, energy, education, housing, etc., etc., etc. And while it may be $50 a check for you for some people it would be a lot more and for some a lot less. Hmmmm, sounds kinda like redistribution to me.
They won't take out taxes. Did you submit a tax form? nt

SE's do not have to submit time sheets.

Don't have to submit to background check, BUT

Sure, you can refuse a background check, but you won't get the job offer, either.  Rights or no rights, the employer still holds all the cards on this one.

Proper way to submit resignation?
How much information does one have to include in a resignation? Just the date effective? Do you need to give the reasons in the resignation?  TIA!

Hello out there all you knowledgable techie MTs.

My submit/save button is not working and I need any (easy) suggestions!

All suggestions appreciated as I am at a loss, having tried everything I know.

Thanks very much!

That is not just for payroll. It's how to find your

That isn't just for payroll. I am from the Southeast
and we were told by supervisors to use the method to read reports to check reports we had to send to QA if we wanted to see how they looked when the client gets them.
I also talked to payroll and they
are the ones who told me it was a live check. It is not direct deposit.
Payroll service sm
I used a payroll service, the cost was very nominal and they do all the work, keep all the records, send you statements, make out the payroll check and you hand everything over to the tax guy at the end of the year. I did open a separate checking account, it is much easier than mixing it up with your own money, keep it separate, no incorporation necessary unless you expect to expand. Just an opinion, of course. You can pay your own taxes from your account at the end of the year if you don't pay yourself each week, you can pay self-employment tax and use a Schedule C for yourself, be sure to keep some money in the bank for this.
Try monsterjobs.com or careerbuilder.com and submit your resume. nm

How can you submit a notification letter to your emlpoyer...sm
more or less stating that you are happy with the company, but due to personal reasons you need to leave.  I have equpment that needs to be returned and I would prefer the company not try to keep me or bombard me with e-mails/phone calls about what the personal reason is and/or how long I need to be gone - that they will hold my position for me when I come back.  I just want to leave for personal reasons - no questions asked.  Thanks.
I saw a job posting today that wants the applicant to submit....

a bid per line.  Have any of you ever heard of that?  Would you have any advice as to how to bid for the job with having almost nine years of experience in orthopedics?  I have been paid various line counts over the years, all with different formulas.....any suggestions?

TIA

2005 Payroll Schedule

The payroll schedule for MedQuist states PayDate as 07/11/05 (Monday).

no you crack me up. if you are on mq payroll, you should really take a cut. not to clever to not
be able to disguise alias when trying to devise a multiple personality back-up to your multiple posts backing MQ.  LOL.  Nice try!
No time sheet - but something to payroll? nm
.
No you aren't supposed to go there. That's for payroll.
Any lawyers in the house?
If you talked to payroll, they must have told you what it was for. What was it for? nm.
nm.
How is that falsfying payroll records ? - sm
she is only paid for what lines she produces at each job. I am sure her MTSOs must think she is slow though in terms of production, but that is her problem. Also what is unethical/criminal about it? I gather you only work 1 job and think it is wrong to work for more than 1 company at a time. Obviously I disagree with that idea. Sure most companies would prefer you only work for them, but most cannot give you enough work to pay the bills, so you need 2 jobs, plus it is not wise to have all your eggs in one basket. If you lose your job then your are screwed, but if you have 2 then at least you still have some income coming in.
it clearly says for payroll. i had to download microsoft office to see it.

it shows everything past and prior line counts.  i counted the spaces and lines and they did not add up to MQ version some times.  wonder of the MQMT lawyers have seen this.

I already said that I talked to payroll and asked why this was in IPAY,
They said that we will be receiving a check in the mail with a letter explaining it. They would not go into detail. I don't know how much more clear I need to make this for you.
Payroll law? MDI-Fl now pays 6th working day after end of payperiod.
California laws say must be paid on or before the 5th working day after end of pay period.  Because the company is in Florida, would their law supercede California law?
Submit invoice; get check. Won't give bank account
.
I think presenting a letter addressed to him and/or the office manager to submit to him is very
appropriate. That is exactly how I presented it as I was having a hard time thinking how to say and what to say. It was much easier to "plead my case" on paper. Go for it.
I'd ask my friend if her MTSO would like someone familiar with the account on her payroll.

Apply for a business loan to meet payroll.

Such lies. Just yesterday I had a payroll problem. 1 phone call, person answered, and IMMEDIATELY
remedied the situation. There are always people there to help us.  Wendy is just lying, and like I'll bet she's lying about her name! Its sooooooooo stupid to do this stuff when you're a disgruntled ex.
Just return the work, submit your bill, the scurry and find more work elsewhere. sm
They will never meet with you before next week. It is Thursday, already. Be prepared to sue for payment, because you will probably need to. But, most of all, find other work elsewhere, because I have a feeling this final payment will be a long time coming.
If you submit your reports on time and correctly, you get paid correctly. Pay has been on sm
time for 2 years now. 1st and 15th for employees, 2nd and 16th for ICs. If it falls on a weekend or holiday, it posts the next business day.

By the way, there is no Sophie on radiology at Keystrokes. Must be a troll.
