They should give you your TAT to do the work and leave you alone. Also they should ask before giving you 85 more minutes after you have just done 100 if you wanted the 85 more minutes. At least that is the way they do it where I am. Actually I tell them how many minutes of dictation I am able to do per day. They don't give any more than that.
Personally I don't think I could work for someone like that, not as an IC. It would be different if you were an employee.
