Like it or not, the spouses run military families. Our husbands (or wives in some cases) are always gone, deployed, TDY, at one more school, on patrol, on alert, working mids. Our job is to keep home and family running, and that takes a certain amount of money. Maybe he is feeling alone and out of control. As long as you aren't spending all the money at the casino or redecorating the whole house, you should feel justified in making some of these decisions. Just tell him you love him and you'll hold the fort until he gets back.
