it's not 5 bucks for gas anywhere, and "get a life" is an intelligent statement too.
How about "get an education"
"assume some responsibility" and "no one is responsible for your happiness but you."

I think you're all exaggerating ....
I work in NYC and make $23 an hour for a major hospital, plus full bennys. It's the top of the line as far as income. Anyone who says they're making $30, $40 an hour is full of it. Sorry guys - no one pays more than NYC - unless of course you're working for a doc who's a family friend or an uncle.
