I never thought of changing clothes.  I hope that's not next.  She's not the kind of kid who gets teased.  She's very pretty, tall, slender, well-liked by everybody and looks like she's 14, not 11 (and that's without make up or anything).  I do let her shave her legs and underarms because the hair is brown and very noticeable, so it's not like I'm being unreasonable.  I just think the slippery slope begins when you let them do stuff too early.  We talk about how she has beautiful skin right now, so why try to paint over it.  She has very long very dark eye lashes that frankly won't require any mascara, ever, but I'm sure she'll think otherwise.  Some people say to choose your battles, but my husband says that if you don't win the battles, you'll lose the war.  The oldest one has turned out fine, so hopefully we're doing okay.  Kids, where IS that instructional manual?
