One of those days/weeks
I have had one of those weeks - but today took the cake.  Seems like I never stopped and have earned nothing lol.  My butt got bigger, my left leg hurts because I use my right foot and my left leg is permanently bent, my Son left for work and I did not even know it, My cat bit me because I forgot to feed him, my signifcant other made coffee and I forgot to drink it until it was so cold and nasty. and then I spilt it all over myself.  My youngest called and asked me to pick him up and I FORGOT.  The gypsy moths are eating my trees, They changed my mailman (what a cutie he used to be) Anybody else have one of those days today (I know we all did, so make it a bit humerous for all of us - God knows we could use the laugh I am sure.)
My contract states 2 weeks for MT and 30 days for QA. nm
nm
nah, I'd give two to three weeks, if they found someone before 30 days, they'd let her go pron
nm
Once you give notice and quit working, how many days/weeks/months

are you covered by your medical/dental insurance?  My employee handbook does not mention this.  Is there a "standard" period of time that you remain covered?  TIA for your reply.

yea - they meant cooked chicken and rice and cooked beef and rice. its bland too.

Sorry, I don't eat greasy crap like that. Enjoy yours though

DO THIS FOR THE BEST REWARD
Stay home, take food to a homeless shelter and have a meal with them. They WILL appreciate it. OR - go to a nursing home and find people who will talk with you as if they had known you forever. You will see some sad situations but know that you made some people happy, and that will bulldoze any sad feelings. Arrange to meet with your father at a time that his life is not being so controlled by his new wife. Eating with those who have less will give you much to be thankful for.
I have mine afterwards, as a reward for surviving! LOL..nm

excellen idea from reward yourself
Nursing homes DO need so many extra hands at holidays to help with those who do not have family.  After my dads Alzheimer's got to the point I could no longer take him out, I ate with him in th NH and helped feed others, spend sometime with them, etc.  They really do appreciate your time and the best reward is the loving smile they will give you while making your heart feel fantastic!
Some companies also pay a reward for that recognition. sm
Webmedx pays a small bonus for MT of the Month.
Survivor.
Lovin reality.
Survivor, anyone?
Has anyone been following Survivor Exile Island? What did you think of Shane getting voted off? I was so shocked - he was absolutely convinced he was going all the way to the final two. I hope Terry keeps winning immunity - he is such an awesome dude!
Survivor, anyone?
I was SOOOOO glad to see Shane go! He was so annoying to me!! I'm glad he got to see his son and share some of the experience with him though, I'm not that cold hearted. I don't want Aras to win because I can't stand him either!!! I'd like to see Cirie or Terry win, only because they played the game so well.
survivor

HI,

I was diagnosed in January 2006 and underwent a right lumpectomy and lymph node dissection, I had my chemo and radiation.  I'm just finishing up with my Herceptin, my last dose will be the end of May.  Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.  It's not easy but I was back to work in a couple of weeks.  At that time I lived in California and had to fight for disability.  Hopefully you don't live there, and go through what I did...  Also, check out with the Cancer Society regarding support groups in your area, they were a great help.  My prayers are with you.  If you want I can keep in touch and help out as much as I can.

You are a survivor. My hat is off to you (along with a bow).

Survivor
I agree with Winnie.  Keep it simple.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer 14 years ago tomorrow.  I didn't have my mastectomy until 7 years ago and I had it done prophylactically.  I had a drainage tube when I got home from the hospital and they gave me a surgical bra to wear.  I wore very loose fitting P.J.'s.
Speaking of Survivor.
Anyone every applied before or know someone who has, my Niece is trying to get on and is going for an open audition this coming Friday, any advice?
survivor tie breaker

At tribal counsel, Aras had immunity from winning the immunity challenge and Terry wouldnt give up his immunity idol, so it was a tie - Danielle had 2 votes, Cirie had 2 votes.

The tiebreaker will be to see who gets a fire started the fastest to burn through a rope and raise their flag  and that's how it ended - I think you may be right too, but I hope not

I am a PPD survivor and boycott Cruise nm

Survivor Guatemala wimps...
Anyone notice last week on Survivor Guatemala how all the men became sick and puked, lyinig lifeless on the beach while the women seemed just fine, taking care of the MEN! As a man I wuz quite disgusted with my fellow dudes - quite a blow to the "male ego" I must say. Remember guys - we're the STRONGER sex!!! ACT like it!
thanks for sharing a survivor story sm
I had my colorectal cancer surgery 9 weeks ago - stage III as well. Going through chemo right now followed by radiation/chemo followed by chemo alone. Nice to hear that someone else in the same boat made it through to the other shore. BTW, I am *only* 44, good shape, nonsmoker, exercise and eat healthy, yada yada. Burns me every time I read how colorectal cancer is preventable. I did everything right and still got it...guess I'm *special*.
How do you eat your corn on the cob?

Vertically or horizontally?

Just wondering.

I am a Survivor fan and did watch it last week. The guys

most definitely carried huge loads in order to take everything with them and ended up paying a huge price.  Hopefully they all start drinking more water ... I think they are a great group and I want to see everyone able to compete.

Tonight should be good!

oops - Johnny Fairplay was ON SURVIVOR...sm

CYBERSLAPS MYSELF!!!   THWACK!!!  *lol*

They should give Cirise from Survivor a chance at it.

Does anyone have a corn burning
how do you like it?  If you have a stove, to move the heat all through the house, do you run the blower on your furnace with the thermostat turned way down?  If you have a furnace, did it hook to the existing ducting in your home?  Thank you in advance for your help.
PIZZA, it's the usual.

We got pizza delivered.
Church group tonight.
I usually give $2 to the pizza man

fried pork, taters, and corn....nm

I could NEVER trust myself around 10,000 candy corn, or even 100! they'd be gone in no time

but I would lie and say your wart is very becoming on you....in return for maybe 10 candy corn and about 5 of those pumpkin things

pizza and denzel washington

pizza gives you different food categories and you can "doctor" pizza for variety by adding pineapples or other things you could find on the island.  denzel is a manly man, charming, funny and intelligent.    if drink is added cold beer (corona with lime) would go great with my pizza.

frozen pizza and Perrier

Guess you'll have to come to my house for pizza!

Just finished canning 30 pints of pizza sauce from my homegrown tomatoes, peppers, basil, garlic, oregano and husband grows the onions.  Husband and his brothers own a large crop farm so can and freeze lots of veggies.  Also made salsa last week.  Almost always make my own pizza anymore because of the artificial color problem.  Haven't quite perfected it though (that pizzeria taste) but have got the crust almost "right".  Would be happy to share my recipe for dough.  Also sincere the in the shoulder if you need one- would be willing to share email address to correspond.

Ezcema is such a bummer!!  I have several nephews (husbands side of the family) with it.  Was worse for them when they were younger and has definitely gotten better now that they are older teens now.  Food allergies did seem to be a culprit for them.  Can you believe that when my daughter was totally covered all summer with hives that I went to my mother in law and asked her if anyone in the family had any allergies that she knew of because I was totally at a loss, immediately she said no without a thought.  (Couldn't be anyone in "her family").  Then after I almost killed my daughter with Amoxicillian (strep throat), Gatorade, cough syrup (cold/cough), Benadryl (hives) and Advil (fever) (all of which have red dye which she is most allergic to) and her face and throat swelled up the mother in law suddenly remembered her sister stops breathing if she has artifical food colors.  Golly gee thanks for your help. Her sister has food allergies and so do the nephews thanks for thinking of your granddaughter.

mmmm... rice.
x
Where do you get the jasmin rice ?
I have looked around here in specialty stores and can't find it. I LOVE jasmin rice.
Red beans and rice.
Husband's fave, not mine. Smelly.
