That worked!!! Thanks for your response and for your help. One more thing. I loaded the CD in Express Scribe and when I went to use the foot pedal it plays with the pedal part that is usually for rewinding it and to rewind it you use the part of the pedal that usually is for playing.

Can you set it up in the normal way where you push the pedal and when you let up on it then it will back the file up a couple of seconds?

Sorry I am new to all this technology. I'm used to transcribing the old way with cassettes. Thanks in advance.
